How to locate the UNBC Pride Centre

1. The bus loop is were the city bus drops the students off. 

2. When you reach the bus loop it’s usually a safe bet to follow the students that get off. you will walk down a path way. When looking at the bus stop bench you are going to want to go left toward the path. When walking up the path that is on the right off of the sidewalk you will see the admissions building on the right and on the left is the NUSC building thats the building you need. If there are no students and you drove yourself/was dropped off by someone with a license. If you were dropped off there is one of two routes you can take both of which lead you to the NUSC building, it’s the building closest to the road.

3. upon entering the building you will see on your left Degrees Coffee shop and directly in front of you a sign that shows an arrow pointing to the left with Pride Centre listed among a few other things. 

4. Go left. you will reach almost the end of the hall and see a set of stairs tucked away on your right. Go up the stairs.

5. When you reach the top of the stairs you will see CFUR 88.7 FM that is the university radio station. Turn left and walk down the hall.

6. Next to CFUR is over the edge it is the university newspaper. Keep walking you’re almost there!

7. You will pass two rooms which are occasionally occupied.

8. On your right you will see the Canadian Rainbow flag.

9. If the door is open come in! if it’s closed check the schedule and see when it will be open. On thursdays and fridays Ellen(me) the practicum student is there from 9 AM to 5 PM and she would love visitors!

10. CONGRATULATIONS! you;’ve reached the UNBC Pride Centre where everyone is accepted and welcome :)

PS. I promise I don’t bite. I’m introverted so it takes a while for me to get comfortable with people so I promise I’m not mean!
